Happy Birthday, AddThis!

This month, we celebrate five years of sharing with AddThis. It began with a simple idea – make bookmarking and sharing easier. At first, it was a single button with some bookmarking services used by a few small publishers. Now, we're humbled to be able to say our tools are used on over 10 million domains, seen by 1.2 billion users a day. We started to see some interesting trends in how and what people share and introduced sharing analytics to offer this same insight back to publishers. It's been fun to watch it grow and see what you've been able to learn and do with so much information about content and audiences.

Thank you so much for your loyalty and support over these last five years. It's been an amazing ride and we are excited to work with you to have an even better next five years. Twitter Mentions Now Live in Analytics

AddThis Analytic's Twitter Mentions feature is now in real-time! This means anytime a URL from your domain is publicly tweeted, you will be able to see it – RIGHT when it's been sent. You can find the Twitter Mentions on the Summary tab of your analytics as well as on each content detail page. See what people are saying on Twitter about your brand or specific content in real-time.

Address Bar Sharing Now in Chrome

The AddThis Address Bar Sharing Analytics feature is now available within Chrome versions 14 and above. We can now track copy and paste data from Safari, Firefox and Chrome, which covers 50% of the browser market share. For those who do not know, Address Bar Sharing Analytics is a feature that measures how often users share your site by copying the URL from their address bar and send it via email, IM or other channels.
