Nicholas Steno est né le 11 Janvier en 1638 et décédé le 25 Novembre 1686, un Danois d'origine, un pionnier dans l'anatomie et la géologie.


En 1659, Nicholas Steno décidé de ne pas accepter quelque chose d'écrit dans le livre, même si simple, et a commencé le travail au lieu de la recherche lui-même.


Il a reçu le titre de Nicholas Steno (Père de la géologie et les couches du sol) à la suite de ce qu'il a fait des études poussées et un grand effort est sans précédent dans ce domaine.
